Being independently owned; we at Mark Hinds Optometrist aim to provide the latest range of designer fashion frames and sunglasses to one location in New Farm. Our fashion eyewear collections have been carefully selected from the world's leading eyewear designers and manufacturers ensuring our customers will find a frame or sunglass to suit their individuality and budget.
Spectacle lenses are chosen for each individual. We believe that every patient should have a taylor made pair of spectacles and spectacle lenses not just one brand, not just one design, not just one company. UV protection is built into most spectacle lenses that walk out of our practice as we treat your eyes like our eyes giving them the best possible option. This does not mean that cost will be more - even our health fund package lenses have thinner, lighter lenses with UV protection built into the lenses. We use lenses from Nikon, Zeiss, Essilor, Hoya, and Sola. Our specialist Rudy Project lenses for the sporting enthusiasts are also available - great for cycling, golf, running, triathlon and events where you want your actual spectacle prescription in the blade itself. A very popular form of these lenses are transitions for the early start and they tint up as the sun comes up and vice versa - amazing technology in a blade. Ask us how - we do plenty!
It is our access to premium spectacle, sunglass and contact lenses that is important so that the end product has the possibility of being the best! We are NOT part of any buying group or franchise store so we selectively and carefully choose the optimum product for the best result for every patient. We treat your eyes like our eyes - you might say we custom-eyes every eye every time.
Our optometrists and dispensing staff are committed to providing you with unparalleled customer service in every aspect of your visit with us. We show the best of the best in eye wear fashion through collections from all over the globe. You want sexy? We have it. Looking for light and conservative? No problem. If you want truly bad ass fashion that pushes the envelope in eyewear design, even better!
